My Campaign Platform for Catholic Trustee
1. I understand that the role of a Catholic school trustee is one of governance, not day‑to‑day operations. My years of experience and insight will be a strong asset to our Catholic community in this role.
2. I will promote clear accountability and timely responses to parent and guardian requests, with next steps and outcomes communicated in a professional and respectful way.
3. I support conflict resolution practices informed by Indigenous cultural awareness, including healing circles where both those harmed and those who caused harm have a voice, so that all can move toward healing.
4. I believe the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ students must be welcomed and addressed alongside Catholic statements of faith and scripture, so that Catholic initiatives are expressed together with Gospel values.
5. As a Catholic trustee, I will collaborate with high school retreat programs so I can attend retreats and offer words of encouragement and blessing to graduates at their convocation ceremonies, thus it makes it unique and real for the graduating student.
